Scope and Subject Areas

The Journal of Management and Labour publishes research articles that examine work, employment, and labour processes from an interdisciplinary perspective. Submissions are expected to offer original contributions and demonstrate scholarly relevance to the field.

In this context, the journal particularly welcomes contributions in the following areas:

  • Industrial and labour relations
  • Sociology of work and labour processes
  • Labour economics and labour markets
  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Management and organization studies in the context of work and employment
  • Human resource management and employment policies

The journal also considers theoretical and empirical studies addressing the historical and legal dimensions of work and employment.
