Öz/Özet

Spor dünyasında taraftar şiddeti ve saldırganlığı tarih boyunca büyük can ve mal kaybına sebep olmuştur. Keyifli zaman geçirmek için müsabaka izleyen taraftarın şiddet ve saldırganlığa yönelmesi 20.yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren akademisyenlerin ilgisini çeken bir alan olmuştur. Bu kapsamda, taraftar şiddetinin sebeplerini anlamaya yönelik birçok kuram geliştirilmiştir. Bu kuramlar genelde olguya farklı açılardan ve farklı düzeylerde yaklaşmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın maksadı sporda taraftarın şiddet ve saldırganlık davranışını açıklamaya elverişli kuramları araştırmak, bunlar ışığında sporda taraftar şiddet ve saldırganlığın sebeplerini anlamak ve irdelemek yoluyla bütüncül bir sınıflandırma ortaya koymaktır. Bu maksatla, yazında tespit edilen 23 kuramın öne sürdüğü sebep sonuç ilişkileri, faktör ve durumlar içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiş, olguyu etkileme düzeyi (birey, grup ve toplum) de gözetilerek büyük resmi görmeye yönelik kavramsal bir çalışma ilgililerin istifadesine sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Throughout the history, sports fan violence has caused massive amount of casualties and destruction in sports world. Sports spectators’-watching games for pleasure- orientation towards violence often attracts the attention of academics. In this regard, many theories have been developed for understanding the reasons and motivations behind the phenomena. Those theories simply approach fan violence and aggression from different angles at various levels. The aim of this study is to explore related theories, to understand the phenomena in light of those theories and to analyze them in order to establish a holistic and systematic classification. To this end, 23 theories found in the literature were addressed based on causal relations, factors and situations emphasized by those theories according to the level (individual, group and society) they affect the phenomena, using content analysis in order to develop a conceptual study providing the shareholders and researchers with a big picture.
